Message Luke told me that putting a tire on a wheel that would result in stretching it a bit, would make this more pronounced

A 245/35 on a 9" wide wheel is decently stretched.

The other things that I find humorous (I'll probably forget a few):
1. Luke runs, per his profile, 18x8.5s with 265/35s up front. Yes, a 1/2" narrower wheel, with a wider tire. I don't recall him ever mentioning that he rubs.
2. Tirerack's website mentions to use a 245/40 on both 8 and 8-1/2" wide wheels. I saw no 9" wheels listed as fitting the front. I'd be amused if they would recommend the same for an 8" wheel as they do for a 9" wheel, where the application can allow it (ie, the tire will fit the vehicle)
3. If Luke was such a firm believer in a 245/35 being the best for the front of a Z, you'd think he would want to pass this knowledge on to whomever updates the website. Why should his customers get any insider info that a common person wouldn't be able to get? If every salesperson there recommends a 245/35 for any Z front wheel application, I really think they should change the site to reflect that, no?
3. "Tramming" is really opinion, isn't it? You even said you didn't think it was bad yourself. I drove Rich's Z for almost 200 miles (maybe more??) with his 275/40/17s up front with little to no tramming. Coming from driving a car (and truck) with 215s up front, I would think the massive tires Rich had would tram relatively more. I can't say they did.

Of course this will all get blown out of porportion, so I'll just stop here. As I said before, it's too late now
